MICA's Board of Trustees Declares a $30 Million Dividend for 2009

The dividend applies to participating policyholders who were current MICA members as of December 31, 2009. It will be apportioned based on earned premium for the thirty-six month period ending December 31, 2009.
The $30 million dividend represents approximately 20½ % of the 2009 annual premium for physicians who have been insured with MICA for three full years. It brings the total dividends paid to participating MICA members in the past five years to $128,000,000.
The 2009 dividend will be processed the week of February 8, 2010. Look for more information in your mailbox and your inbox. Thank you, MICA members, for another great year.
